Took the day off today to be with my syblings. It has been both a joy to see everyone and a tear jerker on the old heart strings. While me and Dan were sitting there staring at moms' chest rising and falling, it made me think of how much we don't know about death. Can she hear us even though she "isn't there"? where does the mind go? YOu can see the body deteriate, but what about the thoughts of the mind. does it stop or just open up to a greater knowledge?

Seeing my mother there and remembering all that she has done for me. Stood by me when I didn't think anyone was there. SHe tought me how to be fair in all my doings. How to love by example of loving everyone. Be as like Jesus would. Always do service for your fellow man. Stay close to your family- its all we ever really have.
